Have you ever asked yourselves how big the demand for your investment is, and how many cases are getting opened? We dug ourselves through the depths of Reddit to present you the numbers.
Reddit User u/Fjedjik created a graph that shows how many cases were opened and in what different containers the numbers can be broken down.
19.000.000
That is the sum of all cases opened between December 1st, 2021, and January 1st, 2022. Almost 1 case for every person on earth playing Counterstrike.
With a price of 40$ and 600 on the steam market right now, 12.000 bravo cases got opened the last month. There are more cases in other people’s inventories than you think.
From our Prediction “Best Investment in 2022” the popular cases are Chroma 3, Gamma 2, and Spectrum 2.
But by far the most-opened case next to the new operation case is with a price of roughly 0.20$ on the steam market and 600.000 currently available to buy, the clutch case.
Why the clutch case?
The reason why this case gets opened this often is probably because of the gloves it contained and the Chinese market. China is heavy on gloves, that’s why the clutch case is the most-opened case in china for the last 3 months.
Yearly openings
If you round up to 20.000.000 cases per month and multiply by 12 you get a better view of how much money Valve makes, just with cases in one year.
240.000.000 Cases
That’s 240.000.000 blue skins in the first place.
Valve currently makes a revenue of 600.000.000$ just with keys annually. If they can make money off players who hope to get a knife, you can too.
This graph hopefully gives you a better understanding of how many cases are out there and helps you find the right investment to make $$$.
None of these numbers are absolute, rather very good estimates of the actual numbers.
